About Christ in Private Practice

Integrating Faith with Clinical Integrity

Christ in Private Practice exists to support Christian mental health professionals who want to integrate their faith into private practice ethically, responsibly, and with confidence.

This platform was created to address a real and often unspoken tension within the field: the desire to honor Christ while maintaining professional excellence, ethical clarity, and sound clinical judgment. Christian counselors should not have to choose between biblical conviction and professional responsibility.

Why Christ in Private Practice Was Created

Many Christian clinicians quietly wrestle with questions such as:

Can I integrate my faith without compromising ethics or scope of practice?
How do I remain biblically grounded while serving clients of differing beliefs?
How do I market my practice with integrity rather than fear or pressure?
How do I build a sustainable business without losing sight of my calling?

Christ in Private Practice was developed to provide a thoughtful, grounded space where these questions can be examined with clarity rather than confusion and discernment rather than fear.

About the Founder

Christ in Private Practice was founded by Camille McDaniel, LPC, a licensed professional counselor with nearly two decades of clinical experience and extensive experience in private practice.

Since entering private practice in 2010, Camille has navigated the real-world complexities of integrating Christian faith into clinical work, business decisions, and professional leadership. Her experience includes ethical decision-making around informed consent, boundaries, marketing language, fee setting, scope of practice, and the responsibility to remain clinically competent while practicing from a Christian worldview.

Christ in Private Practice is informed not only by conviction, but by lived professional experience and a deep respect for ethical standards across counseling disciplines.
