About Christ in Private Practice

Integrate Faith and Practice

Welcome to Christ in Private Practice!

A space created to support, equip, and encourage Christian mental health professionals who want to do counseling and business God’s way.

I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Camille McDaniel, LPC, and I started Christ in Private Practice out of a deep desire to help fellow Christian counselors integrate their faith boldly and wisely in their work and build thriving private practiceswithout fear, compromise, or confusion.

I’ve been a licensed professional counselor for nearly two decades, and I’ve been in private practice since 2010. Through the ups and downs of building my own business, Healing Psychotherapy Practices of Georgia, LLC, I’ve learned firsthand what it means to invite Christ into every decision — from setting fees to choosing marketing language, to navigating the sacred space of the counseling room with clients.

Along the way, I noticed that many Christian counselors were unsure if they could fully express their faith while building a thriving practice. I realized there was a need for a space where we didn’t have to choose between being excellent clinicians and bold believers.

Christ in Private Practice was born from that desire — to create a space where we can grow, serve, and build with purpose, all while keeping Christ at the center of it all.

This is more than a podcast or a Facebook group — it’s a growing community of professionals who are passionate about aligning their clinical skills with Biblical truth. Whether you’re just starting your practice or looking to realign your established business with Kingdom values, you’ll find tools, and practical wisdom here to guide you.

Inside the Christ in Private Practice podcast, you’ll hear conversations with seasoned counselors, business experts, pastors, and myself on the  intersection of faith, business, and life. We talk about everything from integrating faith ethically in session, to marketing your practice with integrity, to overcoming imposter syndrome as a believers, and much more!

God has called us to this work, and He’s faithful to equip us for it. You don’t have to walk it alone.

I invite you to subscribe to the Podcast, get help for you Business, join our private Facebook community, and search our website for the other supports that are available. Let’s build — with purpose, with excellence, and with Christ at the center.

With grace and grit,

Camille McDaniel, LPC
